Yesterday was international Men's Day... may not seem relevant?
I'll only write of that which i know, so...
On the "active monitoring" scheme for prostate cancer ("You'll die with it, not of it" etc, luckily the least aggressive category), only got checked because a MtF trans friend hassled - being a woman now, she thought she didn't need the checks, it was only when she started wasting away for no reason that she got checked for somehting else causing it and... Go on, guys or gurls, take the Digital Rectal Indignity (even if the quack doesn't even buy you a drink first!), let Dracula's Daughter take her mouthful, it sure beats the alternatives (as my friend has found out). 1 in 6 AMAB will suffer from prostate cancer at some point - caught early it's treatable, and if you're really lucky you might get T-blockers, if i get that i want to hassle for something to replace the T too.... lol
