For me it was when I was young, I remember the first time a neighbor came over to swim she was one year younger than I was but she left her swim suit in our bathroom to dry. It was at that time I first had the inclination to dress. I only have brothers and wanted to satisfy my parents desire for a girl. Sadly they wouldn’t accept me dressing if they knew but it played a role in my desire.
