The city falls quiet, to all fears resigned.
But I take flight,
Like a crow in the night.

Someone fired shots just to make me run,
But I will sit tight, I won't be undone.
I'm not like them,
A crow to condemn.

No glass left to shatter, it's already gone,
A dark fairy tale where the sun once shone.
But I still sing,
Where the crow spreads its wing.

I don't really like posting photos of my butt, I find it somehow inappropriate. Then again, someone says my butt isn't toned enough, although there were those who said it wasn't big enough, well, you can't please everyone, but here I was told it was acceptable. And my favorite red dress, I guess, is getting boring by now.

From the pier Apostle Andrew was casting his line, while the Savior walked over the sea.
Andrew pulled out the minnows from out of the brine, and the Savior saved souls from the deep.
And Andrew cried out: "I will leave this old pier, if you don't tell the secret to me!"
And the Savior replied: "Andrew, calm down your fear, there is no bloody secret, you see.

Do you see on that hill, where the crucifix stands?
A dozen of soldiers are waiting in line.
Go and hang from that cross by your feet and your hands,
And when you get bored of your time,
Come walk on the wave, walk on the wave, walk on the wave with me!"

P.S. I am not the Savior, not even close. But there is something to think about?

Since childhood we’ve walked through a field full of mines,
The blasts tear our parts as the explosives blow,
But pain is forgotten, we’re numb to the signs,
Forgotten our past and the people we grow.

We once believed truly in Father Christmas,
We cherished true love and forgave every lie,
A surgeon in theatre, under anesthesia,
Cut off our naivety so we won't die.

Bone splinters push out through the skin like a blade,
The dream to explore the deep space and the stars,
Necrosis is halted, the agony fades,
We march to a wealthy, calm future with scars.

And yet, once again, a tripwire is torn,
We’ve nothing to trust and no reason to care
For fairy-tale magic or wonders once born,
And these are just first of the losses we bear.

We lose our own selves and we lose one another,
From very first insult to first quiet grave,
The wires are tight and we heavy steps smother,
Why be surprised? Split apart, we behave.

No time to lament or to weep for our dead,
We rip off the bandages, raw to the bone,
We march through coarse weeds with a heavy, grim tread,
Across the whole minefield, afraid and alone.
