For me CD is like wearing aqualung... If you want to see and feel the world of exotic creatures or even life of sharks you wear it and try to be unnoticed... To dissolve is an art of convincing others that their suspicion or doubt is wrong...Fashion allows a lot of distructors... Nice legs and short dress saves from defects of the face to be noticed straight... They might remain unnoticed if your eyes are strong enough to respond to a wondering looks of others with calm smile.

Hi all, first of all I hope everyone is living their best life.
Introductions feel awkward to me for whatever reasons. I will be brief to start out but you will soon find out I can be a chatty Patty, sometimes.
So I'm Danielle Cross (sometimes), I live in Jacksonville Florida, I am 62 & I am an avid MtF crossdresser. And have been doing so for the majority of my life, started in my adolescent years actually. I've been active more so over the past 25 years. For me it's like a light switch, I turn it on and turn it off when I get that itch. If you know what I mean

Dressing feminine has always thrilled me, enlightened me, excited me & empowered me. From doing my own makeup, wearing wigs, skirts, dresses, short shorts, tight jeans, heels to bras, panties, garter belts, stockings and anything else fashionably feminine.
I've been in public fully fem'd out, bars, restaurants, either with other crossdressers, females/girlfriends. And I have had encounters with the male species a handful of times. All of which were very exciting times without a doubt.

I've become so involved, so engulfed in the whole experience at times that it scared me. Because I loved it so much that I started changing the course of my life as far as who I was as a whole. I've lived this double life for so long that I don't really believe I wanted to be a girl full time. I still enjoy the male side of me for many reasons.

It's been a year now since I flipped the switch and now I've got that itch again. I'm feeling the urge, the desire to dress & it's going to happen again. As some may relate, this life we lead and what we do, namely we purge. We wind up getting rid of everything we bought & collected, all the clothes, heels, makeup, wigs and pics and videos, gone sadly.

So I will begin to build my collection once again and as I do I will share more with you all as I go along this journey yet again.

A few weeks ago my wife was asking me what aspects of cd Im enjoying & if there's any I dislike.

Couldn't come up with anything bad per se, just that apart from her and a few people online i don't feel i can discuss things like shopping, fashion, how materials feel on etc with many people in my life.

Last weekend she secretly arranged for the kids to go to the in laws, and told me I had 36hrs to dress/shop/spend as Karla however I wanted- but she had a plan if i felt extra brave.

Taking the mystery option she told me to dress fem under a hoodie and jeans & we headed into the town centre.

Perusing the women's wear departments together she asked if I still felt brave- intrigued I said yes. She sent a text and 2 mins later her friend walked in, straight up to me & asked me if I wanted any help picking an outfit!

(For context, my wife has-by her own admission, zero fashion sense & little interest. But she had remembered my admiration for her friend's fashion sense & love of clothes)

Initially I panicked, but wife took my hand and told me to pick something to wear that evening with her friends help- the venue was my choice.

Spent a good 90mins the 3 of us looking at outfits together, initially i was nervous and worried, but with their help i picked out a cute peach bra and panties set, a pair of leather leggings, some tops and a hooded jumper dress.

Honestly after 10mins shock/worry we had a blast! When they lead me towards the changing rooms I did hesitate....never tried on & brought clothes in store before. But the sales assistant didn't bat an eye, just directed us to 3 changing rooms and asked us to say of we needed anything.

We then went for a coffee together, examined each others choices and had a laugh. Wife then asked if I wanted to head home, for a meal or 'out out'.

Her friend replied instantly, 'i want to see the look! So we went back to ours, ordered a Chinese and went through my fem wardrobe, trying several things on.

Honestly it was awesome having someone to discuss fashion & make up with (wife will talk about it, but has no passion for fashion).
Ended the evening wearing full make up & a nightdress having my nails painted, having worn almost all my outfits at one point or another, pure bliss x

Smile is the only fashion that last forever
